HIFASS, a Non-Government Organization (NGO) registered in October 2007, supports Public Health, safety intervention and HIV/AIDS related Services. Through its partnership with Nigeria Ministry of Defence (NMOD) and United States Department of Defense Walter Reed Program-Nigeria (USDOD WRP-N), HIFASS utilizes the extensive military health infrastructure across the country and skilled health professionals to establish free and comprehensive HIV care and prevention services for the benefit of all Nigerians. For the past 6 years working with NMOD, HIFASS has been providing and managing over 140 health care workers to strengthen services across the 21 program sites. This invaluable partnership has the objective of strengthening HIV/AIDS prevention, counseling and testing/diagnosis, treatment, training and quality health care service delivery.

Job Title: Project Driver

Job Descriptions

  •     Serves as driver for official activities.
  •     Carefully and responsibly drive official vehicle to and from various locations in Nigeria.
  •     S/he will provide daily preventive maintenance and routine check of official vehicles.
  •     Reports defects and malfunctions to the Admin Officer.
  •     Monitor expiration and renewal of driver's and vehicle license. Ensures passengers fasten seat belts at all times.

Job Requirements

  •     Minimum of 5-10 years driving experience.
  •     Must possess valid professional driver's license.
  •     Evidence of post primary education and training in security and vehicle operation/maintenance required.
  •     Maintains a daily vehicle mileage log.
  •     General knowledge and familiarity of the Nigerian national road network.
  •     Experience in similar position with a multilateral organization (e.g. UN agencies) and/or bilateral organization (e.g. International/Local implementing partners) will be of advantage.

Job Title: Admin Assistant​

Job Descriptions

  •     S/he will assist the Finance and Administrative Director to provide general administrative support.
  •     S/he will handle arrangements and logistics support for meetings, retreats, and workshops.
  •     Will Check and maintain inventory, licensing, registration and other operating or administrative records.
  •     Maintain all necessary reports, documents, log sheets, indexes, and/or statistics.
  •     Review incoming mails and take appropriate action as assigned by the FAD.

Minimum Requirements

  •     A Higher National Diploma in Secretarial Studies or university degree. Other additional educational qualification will be an advantage.
  •     At least (5) years working experience in similar position.
  •     Knowledge of the operation of office equipment and personal computers.
  •     Knowledge of standard formats for letters, memos and reports.
  •     Ability to use basic word processing, spreadsheet and database application.

 

Job Title: Civil Society/Community Mobilization/Public private partnership Advisor

Job Descriptions

  •     S/he will provide technical inputs to plan, implement and monitor progress of sustainability initiatives.
  •     Develop a plan for uninterrupted provision of services.
  •     Particularly s/he will contribute to the project's efforts to harness public private partnership initiatives and private sector engagement for OVC service delivery.
  •     Design and oversee implementation of incentives for graduating households.
  •     Conduct advocacies for strengthening relationships with Local Partners to ensure Country ownership and sustainability.

Job Requirements

  •     B.Sc/BA in management, social sciences, public health or a related field with 5-7 years post national youth service corps experience.
  •     Demonstrable facilitation and interpersonal skills are essential.
  •     Strong oral and written communication skills.
  •     Proven experience in building and maintaining institutional linkages and public private partnership is required.
  •     Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.

 

Job Title: Capacity and Organizational Development Advisor​

Job Description

  •     The Capacity and Organizational Development Advisor will work under the overall guidance of the Program Director to address Organizational capacity assessment and develop tailor made approaches to build individual organizations capacity.

Job Requirements

  •     University degree in Public Health or similar social discipline
  •     Build technical capacity of local partner organizations in strategic planning, financial management, resource mobilization and HRM.
  •     Must have knowledge of theories, concepts and approaches relevant to capacity building for OVC Care and Support system
  •     Ability to work closely with CSO partners, government agencies and commitment to network mission
  •     M &E experience, computer proficiency will be an added advantage

 

Job Title: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Descriptions

  •     The M&E officer will be responsible for implementing monitoring and evaluation strategies, frameworks and tools as well as providing capacity building for local counterparts.
  •     S/he will collect data for reporting and program review.
  •     Responsible for ensuring that reporting deadline is met.
  •     Will conduct data quality assessment.
  •     S/he will ensure timely achievement of milestones.
  •     Implement processes to analyze and use data to inform evidence-based planning, decision-making and dissemination.
  •     Prepare monthly, quarterly and semi-annual project reports.

Job Requirements

  •     The M&E officer must have at least 2 years relevant experience
  •     BA/B.Sc in social sciences, demography, statistics, epidemiology and or a related field
  •     Strong technical competence in M&E systems.
  •     Reasonable working knowledge of and familiarity with USAID M&E rules and requirements.
  •     Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Job Title: ICT Officer​

Job Descriptions

  •     S/he will be responsible for the management and maintenance of all ICT equipment and the provision of technical advice and support.
  •     S/he will ensure security, integrity and reliability of all software/hardware systems.
  •     Supervise the system and electronic database regularly. Update the project website.

Job Requirements

  •     Masters Degree in computer science or ICT related courses.
  •     Minimum of 3 years experience working with rational database systems such as MySQL, MS access and programming (JAVA, C++).
  •     Good knowledge on website development and design.
  •     Proficiency in Microsoft office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  •     Excellent oral and written English communication.

 

Job Title: Finance Officer​

Job Descriptions

  •     Will be responsible for providing financial related logistical support.
  •     S/he will assist the Finance & Admin Director in administration of and in documenting field expenses according .
  •     S/he will support CBO sub-grant award training and financial monitoring.
  •     Posts financial information according to standard procedures.

Minimum Requirements

  •     BSc/HND in a relevant field with 3-6 years.
  •     Knowledge of USAID Financial Rules and Regulations is desired.
  •     Experience working with multi-lateral or bilateral donor funded activities in similar capacity.
  •     Practical experience working to support financial capacity/performance of CBOs.
  •     Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel spreadsheets, or comparable software and basic accounting software (i.e. QuickBooks).

 

Job Title: OVC Care and Support Specialist

Job Descriptions

  •     S/he will provide technical and programmatic leadership and support to implement high quality care and support activities for orphans and vulnerable children.
  •     S/he will develop detailed annual work-plan for OVC Care and support and participate in evaluations and assessments.
  •     S/he will evolve collaborative solutions and family centered approaches.
  •     S/he is expected to strategically coordinate stakeholders response to OVC.

Job Requirements

  •     Masters Degree in Education, Social Sciences or Social Works.
  •     At least five (5) years hands-on relevant experience.
  •     knowledge and practical skills in OVC care and support.
  •     Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
  •     Knowledge and understanding of pediatric home-based care, gender, stigma and discrimination.
