Job Position: Project Manager

Job Location: Lagos

Job Description

• The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility, developing effective project methodology and customer feedback techniques
• Ensure activity on projects is regularly monitored to ensure milestones are met.
• Understand customers’ specific business needs and expectations to meet those needs
• Ensure quality of service by developing a thorough and detailed knowledge of project management methodology
• Provide support to customers, offering clear advice and solutions wherever possible
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule and costs
• Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques
• Strengthen business relationship for better negotiating and conflict negotiation
• Write and designing project literature
• Keep abreast of constantly changing software, hardware systems and peripherals
• Arrange project status and progress review meetings and follow up
• Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5 years proven work experience as a Project Manager in the Information Technology sector.
• Must have PMP/PRINCE II Certification.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
