Job Summary


  • The Resident Facility Manager will be responsible for the overall management, maintenance, and operation of the assigned facility.
  • This role requires a hands-on, proactive individual who can ensure that the property is well-maintained, meets all safety and regulatory standards, and provides a high-quality environment for residents, tenants, or clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, repairs, and renovations.
  • Manage and supervise the maintenance team and external contractors to ensure timely and effective completion of tasks.
  • Ensure the facility is compliant with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all facility systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and security systems.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to residents or tenants.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility to identify and address potential issues.
  • Prepare and manage the facility’s budget, ensuring cost-effective operations without compromising quality.
  • Track expenses, approve invoices, and manage financial reports related to facility operations.
  • Select, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and service providers for maintenance, security, cleaning, and other facility services.
  • Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols, emergency response procedures, and security measures to ensure the safety of all occupants.
  • Ensure that fire safety equipment and procedures are up to date and compliant with local regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, financial expenditures, and tenant interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on facility operations, budget performance, and any issues requiring attention.

Job Qualifications

  • Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Property Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in facility management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Professional certification (e.g., CFM, FMP) is a plus.
  • Proven track record in managing large residential or commercial facilities.
