Job Position: Supply Chain Management Officer

Role Description

  • The Supply Chain Management Officer is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement and contract administration process for projects and operational needs. The role ensures timely sourcing of services and materials, effective contract management, compliance with company policies, and cost efficiency while supporting project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue Requests for Proposal, and tender documents.
  • Evaluate bids and quotations, conduct cost comparisons, and prepare procurement recommendations.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and service quality.
  • Prepare, review, and manage contracts, purchase agreements, and service-level agreements in collaboration with management.
  • Ensure all contracts clearly define scope, timelines, deliverables, payment terms, and liabilities.
  • Monitor contract execution to ensure compliance with agreed terms and conditions.
  • Maintain a contract register and track contract milestones, renewals, and expiry.
  • Support project and business development teams with tender documentation and contract inputs.
  • Coordinate vendor documentation required for contract award and project mobilisation.
  • Ensure that all procurement and contract records are properly documented and retrievable for audit purposes.
  • Support cost control initiatives by ensuring value-for-money procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, approval limits, and regulatory requirements.
  • Flag procurement risks, contract deviations, or cost overruns, to the management promptly.
  • Work closely with project teams, finance, engineering, and operations to align procurement activities with business needs.
  • Coordinate with Finance to ensure timely processing of invoices and contract payments.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 8- 10 years of experience in procurement, contracts, or supply chain roles.
  • Proven experience handling tenders, contracts, and service procurement is highly desirable.
  • Experience in an oil & gas, energy, construction, or project-based environment is an advantage.
