Job Summary


  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resource Manager to lead the development and implementation of HR strategy, policies, systems, processes and procedures.
  • This role is pivotal in facilitating the attraction, deployment, development and retention of critical talents within the organisation.
  • The successful candidate will advise management across the business on strategies for relevant business improvement and transformation initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance and embedding a strong & positive work culture.

What you'll do

  • As a Human Resource Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development of HR strategy that aligns with the overall business goals.
  • You will manage the entire recruitment process, from sourcing to screening applicants, ensuring we attract top talent.
  • Your role will also involve monitoring the company's performance management policy, developing strategies to enhance employee engagement, assessing organisational capabilities, managing all employee-related issues while adhering to labour laws, and facilitating change and business improvement programs.
  • Oversee implementation and maintenance of HR information systems (HRIS)
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement and motivation
  • Assess organisation's capabilities by putting in place systems for competence and skills assessment
  • Develop and deploy the HR strategy in alignment with overall business strategy
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment process for vacant positions
  • Monitor and manage company's performance management policy
  • Manage all employee-related issues ensuring adherence to labour laws
  • Facilitate change and business improvement programs

What you bring

  • The ideal candidate for this Human Resource Manager position should have a first degree in Human Resources Management or any other business-related subject.
  • You should bring a minimum of 15 years of work experience managing the Human Resources function of a reputable organization.
  • Membership or certification from recognized professional bodies such as CIPM, CIPD, SHRM is mandatory.
  • A sound understanding of indigenous E&P business requirements is essential. Proven experience in developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business goals is required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, persuasion, collaboration, negotiation and influencing are key to success in this role.
