We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Customer Success Executive

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities


  • Support day-to-day contacts at the client, contributing to the achievement of client satisfaction targets
  • Build effective relationships with client representatives
  • Own reporting, including report maintenance, business issue analysis, and solution integration
  • Provide training to clients on Nielsen tools and solutions
  • Trouble-shoot and resolve client inquiries related to databases, software, coding, and other key aspects that impact client deliverables
  • Continue to broaden knowledge of client business issues and needs, Nielsen services, and the broader industry
  • Liaise with other teams as necessary (e.g. operations, off-shore partners, technology, and data science) to solve client business questions and inquiries
  • Monitor the progress of inquiries against agreed service levels and escalate any issues to the appropriate team
  • Build and maintain relationships with other client support teams to ensure quality and timely service levels are exceeded
  • Work closely with Practice/Retail Analytic Consulting teams, Operations, and Data Science to ensure all work is connected to client business issues and is delivered according to established timelines and in a way that contributes to driving client outcomes

About You

  • The Client Response Associate is responsible for executing specific client support-related activities including the delivery of reporting to our clients and/or client-focused data support, resolution and triage, and contract & order-to-invoice execution.
  • The focus is to create high levels of client satisfaction by delivering accurate and insightful responses that contribute to client outcomes

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of FMCG industry and trends
  • 1-2 years of Nielsen Client Service at Response and/or industry experience
  • Participation in a Project
  • Solid Knowledge of Nielsen products and services
  • Good interpersonal skills – ability to develop relationships internally and at the client organization
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with gradually declining supervision
  • Strong time management skills and prioritization ability, with gradually declining supervision
  • Able to respond to inquiries of moderate complexity with almost zero supervision
  • Able to respond on enquiries of higher complexity with limited supervision
  • Strong storytelling skills, able to take clients through the solution offered and get their buy-in and satisfaction
  • Able to coach and support Jr. Executives
  • Strong levels of clients satisfaction achieved, acknowledgement from the client on a strong mindset to help them, as well as of the results per se.

2.) New Business Associate Director

Job Location: Lagos

Job Summary

  • This role combines business development, sales and marketing on the one hand (business development), with the creation of bespoke market research solutions for target clients (solution development), including pitching.
  • Essentially, the New Business Associate Director - CMI will own a revenue target for totally new clients i.e. clients we do not currently work with in east and West Africa, the sales process we have developed to unlock growth among new clients, and the successful development of winning research solutions for them.
  • Candidates will have accomplished skills ideally on both the business development and solutions development sides of the role. Whilst we have grown this area of our business, we see further huge potential to grow further.
  • This role will be the driving force in achieving our ambitions, by targeting, qualifying, and nurturing new client relationships, landing small initial wins to pave the way to much bigger game-changing wins.
  • As such, this is a crucial hire for us to realise our ambitions. You won’t be alone or without support: we have already a prioritized list of new clients we seek to target in various industries (FMCG, Retail, Banking), advanced capabilities in several areas (brand tracking, segmentation, ad pre-testing, customer satisfaction, qualitative research, etc). Whilst ambitious, the targets are realistic.
  • This is an extremely exciting role at the very forefront of our plans, which is why you will be reporting directly into the CMI lead for NIQ GfK SSA

Job Responsibilities

  • Own the target list of clients we want to start working within East and West Africa
  • Qualify and own the qualification criteria for this target list, to zero in on the clients who will be our game-changers
  • Own sales and marketing materials used to open and nurture relationships with new clients
  • Leverage local, regional and global account manager relationships (within CI and RMS/MI) to create inroads into new clients
  • Create bespoke proposals for new client pitches that connect their explicit and implicit needs, to uniquely contrived research solutions, that leverage the unique selling points of our chosen specialisations
  • Lead pitching to new clients, and support the pitch process for other clients
  • Hunt as many qualified clients as possible: initiate the relationship, nurture, land the first piece, then expand into much bigger pieces of work that will accelerate our growth
  • Connect client needs, to our clearly defined market research specialisms of brand tracking, segmentations, ad pre-testing, customer satisfaction, qualitative research, etc.
  • An ambitious but realistic sales target
  • This role will not however be responsible for delivering the work sold

 Requirements

  • Ideally, you have minimum of Bachelor’s / Master’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Experienced Consultant +10 years of relevant experience at agencies (some client side OK but needs competitive pitching experience), giving you the gravitas, sophistication, and problem-solving skills that only experience buys
  • You have experience of conducting business development in Sub-Saharan Africa, for local and international clients
  • You have deep experience in business development or sales, or at least a strong inclination towards commercial sense, structure, and discipline
  • Black book of client contacts in FMCG, FS, Media etc. a plus
  • You are an active listener, probing for implicit and not just explicit needs
  • Credible, confident, able to talk meaningfully with Senior Leadership Teams in Insights, Marketing, and Sales functions, and able to pitch to ELT where necessary
  • Willing and able to go hunting new clients
  • You bring a spirit of the entrepreneur, who galvanises support for themselves and their initiatives, from internal teams and clients

3.) Senior Executive, Retail Services

Job Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full time

Purpose
Serve - Engage, overall account management:

  • Source new key retailers decided with Product Leadership/Market. Responsible for contract negotiation. End-to-end retail Account management for selected retail clients, delivering on E2E Cost & Revenue targets. Work with Electronic Data Delivery team to ensure quality data. 
  • Engage with retail customer stakeholders as the first Point of Contact for retail accounts on all topics (proactive and reactive engagement). First and foremost, manage customer satisfaction and proactive communications. You are the consistent link between NIQ and customer.
  • Possession of all products and services with retailers i.e. CPS, Bases, AAC etc.
  • Finance Liaison; own and drive all activities and compliance with NIQ finance processes. E2E Financial compliance / admin – Revenue recognition & Cash Collection
  • Drive account direction & strategy, own & understand the stakeholder landscape, plan & execute engagement per account accordingly.
  • Generate Ad-hoc/proactive insights as a part of regular engagement with the retail customers. Track Value delivered monthly. 
  • Interface and partner with internal stakeholders, brief requests & queries through correct traffic control channels. 
  • Deliver on cost and revenue targets set at the start of the year, through growth of direct revenue. 
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through a Net Positive NPS Score, at least 2 responses per retailer

Qualifications

  • General Studies 
  • Experience 2-4 years of solid understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services and solutions.
  • Solid understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers.
  • Experience working with or for Retail client, or Supplier to Retail in either FMCG or Tech & Durable Industry.
