Job Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner. The Senior HR Business Partner will be responsible for overseeing HR policies, managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor and employment law, and implementing performance management strategies.
  • They will also provide guidance and support to other HR team members and collaborate closely with business leaders to drive HR initiatives and strategies.

Strategic Partnership and Business Alignment:

  • Partner with business leaders to translate strategic objectives into actionable HR strategies and programs.
  • Conduct HR data analysis to identify trends and develop solutions that support business goals.
  • Advise on talent management strategies to ensure the organization has the right skills and resources to achieve its objectives.

Talent Management and Acquisition:

  • Lead the development and implementation of talent acquisition strategies to attract and hire top talent for critical roles.
  • Manage the employee life cycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and development.
  • Partner with recruiters to source and attract qualified candidates.

Employee Relations and Engagement:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with employees at all levels, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Address employee concerns promptly and effectively, including conflict resolution and mediation.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to drive motivation and retention.

HR Operations and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Manage HR operations efficiently, including payroll, benefits administration, and employee records.
  • Stay updated on changes in employment law and HR best practices.

Change Management and Communication:

  • Lead and facilitate organizational change initiatives, ensuring clear communication and employee buy-in.
  • Develop and deliver effective communication strategies to keep employees informed on HR policies, programs, and updates.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to implement change initiatives effectively.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a HRBP function
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour and employment law
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Knowledge of talent acquisition, workforce planning & development strategies
  • Experience in employee relations and managing diverse workforce
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence business leaders
  • Experience in change management, performance management and organizational development
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field; Master's degree is preferred
  • Professional certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus

Salary
N500,000 - N800,000 / Month.
