Store Manager

Royal Oaks Events Limited is a family-owned and operated Events Rentals and Management Company located in the heart of Lagos. Currently, our services are concentrated in the South-West Region of Nigeria. However, we can efficaciously handle any client needs nationwide. In the not-so-distant future, we will be spreading our operations' tentacles to other parts of West Africa.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Store manager are as follows:


  • The manager is responsible for providing leadership & overseeing the work of a group of people. Follow company guidelines and policies, perform the job satisfactorily and receive feedback on a regular basis.
  • Oversees the Store , Store Keeper & storemen for effectiveness, Quality Control , Health Safety and environment.
  • Responsible for planning, directing and overseeing the operations within the store:
    • Proper and adequate stock and recording of all rental items
    • Inspection for equipment’s that go out should be done same as the return.
    • Reporting of all damages directly to the CRO/Operation manager and MD.
    • To ensure safe keeping both as to quality and quantity of materials.
    • To initiate purchase requisitions for the replacement of stock of all regular stores items whenever the stock level of any item of store approaches the minimum limit fixed in respect thereof.
    • Ensure the storage facilities can cater to equipment on ground
  • Development of ideas and concepts bring to drive the company forward.
  • Responsible for the staffing of his/her business area, in more details, this includes the End- to-End recruitment/resourcing of the positions in line laid down processes and approval of the MD.
  • Ensuring adequate development & trained of his staff .
  • Hold weekly meetings with the MD
  • Communicates all messages from the director to the staff.

Requirements

  • B.Sc or HND and a minimum of 2-3 years experience.
  • Ability to work weekends.
